The trio slotted in immediately. The music simply arrived. John and Dave returned to songs deeply connected to Chick with renewed creativity and freedom. Beka brought his own voice. From the first notes, there was an unmistakable chemistry.

“I had the great honor of being Chick’s personal manager for 17 years. He was my hero and a dear friend. Five years on, this project feels very right.”

I was there for many Akoustic and Elektric Band tours. The first time he met Beka. And at every minute of this recent recording.

Chick believed deeply in the power of music and the role artists play in our culture. I can’t wait to help bring this to the world.

We intend to make him proud.
